Great value, solid performance Subaru Outback Wagon. Drives smooth and true, great mileage in-city or highway. LOW Miles! and very well maintained including regular tune-ups and servicing; have service records. This car has a “Reconditioned” title, read more below about this type of title. Basically there was cosmetic, non-structural damage to a small area of the car. The asking price reflects this- otherwise it would be worth much more. I just got a newer-model Subaru for work, and don’t need this one anymore.

Oregon “Reconditioned” Title.

A “Reconditioned” Title in Oregon means that the vehicle was in an accident and the insurance company declares it a “total loss”, after which a vehicle can be repaired and then inspected by the DMV to determine that it is in safe working order. After it passes that inspection, it is classified as a “reconditioned” vehicle.

What happened to this car:

About 2 years ago, I was hit in the passenger front by someone pulled out of a parking spot out in front of me. It was a pretty low-speed collission, but there was cosmetic damage to the right-front quarterpanel, front passenger door, and rear passenger door. Due to the cost of the estimated bodywork and parts (compared to the blue-book value), insurance declared it a total loss. However, the car still ran great and had no engine or chassis damage, so I got it repaired, inspected, and re-branded as “reconditioned”, and have continued to drive it for another few years. Again, I just got a newer-model Subaru for work, and don’t need this one anymore.
