This van has been used for the last 2.5 years in Oregon (and beyond) as both a Camper-van AND a Work-van (see conversion details below). It was mainly used as a production vehicle for a series of outdoor concerts and art-events: hauling sound gear, decor supplies, tools, and even a burly golf cart got driven up into it! It also hauled 1000 gallons of fuel-grade straight-vegetable oil all the way over Mt. Hood to Bend, and we’ve had as many as 10 people and their gear in there with a trailer behind it carrying 3 rafts, 2 kayaks, and an expedition canoe. On camping trips, it’s been a comfy and easy-to-use home base all over the western states.

With less than 113K miles, it’s still running strong and getting 22+mpg. I bought this van from a dealer in TX, who had purchased it from the original owner (a plumbing company in Utah), so it’s never been in a salt-state. Why I’m selling it: I’m going to be relocating to a very rural area with steep unpaved grades, and am going to need somtheing with 4WD. Sad to part with a great rig, but stoked to see someone enjoy it for the next 400K miles (or more!).

  • ISSUE: The HVAC-control unit in the dash needs to be replaced.
  • ISSUE: The brake light sensor (on the pedal), which turns the brakes lights on/off when you brake, is touchy and should be replaced.

Customizations / Conversions:

FAQ via craigslist…

  • Does this include cabinets? Not as listed. My demo cabinets are available for consideration; incl: LP-stove, LP-heater, etc.
  • Does it include AC-power? Not as listed. While there is wiring run thru the van, the inverter and deep-cycle batteries are not available.
  • How much life is left on the tires? Quite a bit. I still get great traction in the snow. These were 60K-mi tires, purchased @ 88,685mi.
